Introduction to Gel Nail Artistry

Interested in becoming a Nail Technician, but not sure if you’re ready to commit to the cost and homework in the full Gel Nail Certification Course? This course offers everything you’ll need to know before deciding to take the plunge!

This nail course can be taken by anyone, anywhere, anytime.  It does not expire.

Introduction to Gel Nail Artistry

is the perfect option for you if you:

This course gives you access to the EXACT same videos as our Certification course. The only difference is that this program is fully self driven and does not include the feedback from your educator.  You will not be required to complete homework assignments, quizzes, a practicum, and final exam.  These are all requirements for our Canadian Gel Nail Technician Certification course.

If you take this course and decide down the road that you would like to become certified, you will be able to transfer into the Online Nail Certification program for a reduced cost of $1999!  Whatever you choose, we’ve got your back angel! Our Online Nail School is designed to set you up for success, no matter what nail journey you are on.

You will not be required to purchase a kit to take this program. You do have an option in the course to purchase my recommended student kit with the products I teach with in the videos, but this is completely optional.  If you prefer to work with your current products, this is completely fine.

The entire course includes a total of 18 detailed modules which will include a mixture of readings and infographics from our carefully constructed manual, as well as plenty of high quality videos filmed by both educators at multiple different angles.  Keep scrolling to read through all of the modules included!

If you ended up on this page even though you know you want to become a CERTIFIED NAIL TECHNICIAN, please click HERE!

We are on a mission to raise the bar for nail education around the globe!

Our mission to improve the standard of nail education

Our mission to improve the standard of nail education was triggered through interactions we had with people in our individual in-person academies. We started noticing a major trend in the nail world; people are paying an enormous amount of money for education that they are super unhappy with.

This really hit home for us.  How are these institutions charging their students so much money, but leaving their students feeling lost and defeated?  This is entirely unacceptable, and this is what inspired us to improve the current education standards!  At Halo, we promise to provide the education that we feel every aspiring nail technician deserves access to!

What makes Halo stand out from other academies?

Halo Nail Academy is a top-tier Canadian nail school created by a well-established nail artist who has a burning desire to share her knowledge and passion for nails with the world!  Our founder, Keesha Carpenter (also known as @electriknailz), created Halo Nail Academy, because she wants everyone to have access to quality education.

Unfortunately, a lot of nail courses are taught by uninspired nail techs who are tired of doing nails and started teaching as a result.  Sadly, their lack of passion shows in their education as well as their students’ work.

Keesha started teaching, however, for the exact opposite reason!  She actually started teaching because she is so passionate about what she does and want nothing more than to help others build businesses like hers!  Keesha LOVES nails, and it shows in her education and students work!

Keesha has real, hands-on experience and is up to date with the hottest trends and techniques, as well as valuable insight for her students on how to become a successful self-made nail tech like her!
